Thieves: 5 in 1 Dress

I love buying Canadian – nothing makes me happier than supporting amazing local designers and businesses. And it's so easy when the product is great and sold at an accessible price point. Last week I bought the Thieves 5 in 1 Dress and I've already worn it twice – which is a lot for me ;). The cut is so flattering and the versatility is undeniable. I was at dinner last night, sitting on a patio, and the minute I felt a chill, I converted my short dress to a long one right at the table. Obviously, this would be brilliant for travel as well. Yes! :) Seriously, this might be my favourite purchase of the year so far. I think I'm going to be 80 years old and still rocking that jacket with my walker and Blublockers. Look out –

My new favourite nail colour for summer: Chanel Orange Fizz

Described as a combination of "coral, fluorescent orange, and bubblegum pink". Love it.

The older I get, the less and less the colour black appeals to me. When I enter a store now and scan a rack of clothing, I always gravitate towards colour and pattern first. These clutches and shoes from Miu Miu are a current obsession!

Celine Spring 2010 Picks

This collection from Celine Spring 2010 is like a breath of fresh air – clean, luxurious and elegant with a touch of edge. I just love the idea of a leather t-shirt. This sort of dressing, which is so polished and strong, is very relatable to women and I think will sell extremely well.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010

Burberry Prorsum's Spring collection had a beautiful fabric and colour palette. There were the signature trenches cinched with great belts and many mini-dresses. Dresses, which like many other designer collections, were too short and voluminous for my taste – but great if you're 23 and a size 0! ;-)

Great trench coats from Aquascutum

I could own 500 belted trench coats and it wouldn't be enough to me – I think they are one of the most essential pieces in a person's wardrobe. These coats from Aquascutum for Spring 2010 are a great interpretation on a classic. The multi-pocket version top-right is my fav.

Jasmine Di Milo Spring 2010

I don't know what to say – overall, I'm really underwhelmed by the Spring 2010 collections. There seems to be a lack of excitement and wearable originality.  Too much black and 80s references still and not enough pure beauty. Women want to be gorgeous – not an art experiment or look as though they are in costume. Jasmine Di Milo had a few looks that stood out for me.
