Yay! How wonderful that the lovely and talented Jenny Beorkrem has designed one of her fabulous Ork posters for and of Toronto.
After placing my order for a hard copy to frame, I took the liberty of highlighting all of the areas I've called home over the years – it's kind of neat to see it all mapped out like this.
Below is my favourite Ork overall simply for it's great composition.
A dear friend bought me this lovely Tin Tin poster from a stall along the Seine during one of my many visits to Paris when I lived in Strasboug. Sadly, it is still waiting to be framed.
In Manhattan's SoHo art district, Evolution
sells museum-quality natural history collectibles such as butterflies
and beetles, fossils,
seashells, skulls and skeletons, medical models, and tribal art.
Something I found of particular interest were the educational charts
that were originally illustrated in the 1950s and 60s and are still
produced by a German company that has been making them since 1929. They
are printed from the original film using the same methods as
the first editions but without inscription.
