Hey remember this beauty I was lusting after? Was lucky and snapped up the "Nyota" at Holts today :-)
Stopped by Jonathan & Olivia today to see their new Top Shop make-up bar. I've been a fan of this line since I saw the charming packaging profiled on numerous design blogs a while back. I love the naive illustration style – it feels so right for the TS brand.
I'm happy to report, after testing practically everything there, that the make-up is quite nice and the pigments are rich. I left with a big bag of goodies and will report back after a few longer wears.
Currently sold out online but mayhaps Jonathan & Olivia have it. Will investigate...
** Update! It's back in stock – I just ordered it here.

Came across the photo of Miuccia and her niece wearing Fall 2010 at the Spring show - notice the banana earrings on Ms. Prada – cute. Forgot how much I love the collection, that specific yellow dress and the campaign that went with it. Here it all is for your enjoyment too.

So glad that Phoebe Philo has reintroduced this bag again for Spring 2011 – love the return to clean lines. With bags having been adorned with every logo, stud, "trick" and fur tail over the last few years, it's refreshing to see something so structured, simple and elegant. A truly timeless bag, it seems certain that the Celine "Classic" will join the ranks of the Birkin as a bag you buy and wear forever.
Have died and gone to handbag heaven. Doesn't this look like an Hermes Medor clutch and a Celine "Classic" bag got together and had a baby? Pre-ordering the tan version NOW.
The "Camille" is from the Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 Collection. I love the beat-up look of the leather – reminds me a little of Marc Marmel's great distressed bags.
The "Sophie" from the Marc by Marc Jacobs line comes in black patent as well – hard choice – they both look so polished. Love that they have a long cross-body strap as well.
P.S. The site only shows a matte leather version currently, so hopefully, the patent actually went into production!
I realize I'm quite late to the party on this subject – but I had to post about it anyways because the collection was so spectacular. The two looks above are the ones I would personally wear if I could, but the whole set of gowns are incredible works of art. See them here.
