Improveverywhere's "the-tourist-lane"

I could write several variations on this theme. One in particular would reference those people that walk in couples or groups and don't feel the need to make way for anyone coming in the opposite direction – as though the walkway is their own private one way street. For years I used to move out of their way – sometimes stepping off the sidewalk entirely and placing myself in the danger of oncoming traffic. Now, I just stand my ground and smash right into those stupid rude idiots!
